Frequently asked questions
Why does Evermory need Photos access?
Photos access lets Evermory read dates, favorites, thumbnails, and embedded locations from the items you authorize so it can organize memories.
Can I use Limited Photos access?
Yes. Evermory works with the items you select, and you can change the selection later in iOS Settings.
Does my library leave my iPhone?
No. Evermory does not upload your Photos library or Story Books to an Evermory server.
When is a Story Book saved?
A Story Book is saved only after you review Story Preview and tap Create My Story Book.
Can I keep more than one Story Book?
Yes. Saved Story Books can be reopened, renamed, or deleted from the Memories tab.
Why are some memories missing from the map?
The map can show only memories whose authorized Photos items already contain location metadata.
Does Reset delete my photos?
No. Reset clears Evermory's local index and saved Story Books. It does not change or delete Apple Photos items.
How does PDF sharing work?
Evermory creates a PDF only when you request it. You then choose a destination using the iOS system share sheet.
