Evermory is an iPhone app that organizes photos and videos from your Apple Photos library into memories, maps, statistics, and Story Books. Evermory is designed to process your library on your device without requiring an account.
1. Information Evermory accesses
After you grant Full or Limited Photos access, Evermory can access the Photos items you authorized. The app reads information needed to organize memories, including local asset identifiers, capture and modification dates, media type, video duration, dimensions, favorite status, screenshot status, and location coordinates already embedded in a photo or video. It also requests thumbnails from Apple Photos to display your memories.
Evermory does not request your live device location.
2. How information is used and stored
Evermory uses authorized Photos information to group moments by time and place, create local statistics, display memories on a map, and build Story Books. The index and saved Story Books are stored in Evermory's private app storage on your device. Your original photos and videos remain in Apple Photos and are not modified or deleted by Evermory.
Evermory does not require registration and does not upload your Photos library or Story Books to a server operated by Evermory. The current version does not include third-party advertising, analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting SDKs.
3. Apple services and sharing
Evermory uses Apple PhotoKit to access authorized Photos items and Apple MapKit to display the memory map. Apple may process requests made by its system services under Apple's own privacy terms.
When you create a PDF or share a memory, data is sent to another app or service only after you choose a destination in Apple's system share sheet. The selected destination's privacy practices then apply.
4. Data retention and deletion
The local photo index remains on your device until you reset Evermory's data or uninstall the app. A saved Story Book remains until you delete that Story Book, reset Evermory, or uninstall the app. Resetting Evermory removes its local index and saved Story Books but does not delete or change items in Apple Photos.
You can change Evermory's Photos permission at any time in iOS Settings.
5. Children's privacy
Evermory is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the developer does not operate an Evermory account or data-collection service, personal Photos content is not collected by the developer.
6. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when Evermory's features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when revisions are published.
